Collaboration Story Ideas

I have the most overactive imagination on the planet. Plot bunny after plot bunny, but I don’t have enough time for them all. Would you like to co-write a story with me?

1) Drama/Romance: In the distance future, Heaven and Hell are making amends. As many peace treaties are accomplished, this is decided with a marriage. Satan’s Son, and the God’s daughter, a prestigious angel. Too bad when the spawn of Lucifer gets there he begins falling for his bride-to-be’s twin brother instead. Love is a powerful force, but if the marriage contract ends, so does the earth, because the world is cracking under the on going war of demon and angel. It will break beneath the pressure soon if they do not come to a truce, and a simple love isn’t worth the end of all time. Right?

A/N: I’ve had this idea in me for a while. I want to give my co-writer liberties as well, so I’ve left it relatively not detailed, so that we can discuss these together. I haven’t even decided if spawn of Satan is the top or bottom, or their names…all things we can discuss. (:

2) Life/Angst/Adventure/Romance: Many are born with some sort of deformation, and extra finger, an extra toe…Lewis was born with angel wings. In his words; “I’m not a seraph and I’m not an angel, and if you’d spend less time staring at my bloody wings and actually listening to me, you’d understand that.” Lewis is mad at the world, mad at his wings, angry with his hollow bones and at his trench coat, which is a little too short to hide the bottom of his feathers. He hates heights, and is furious at the irony in that.

Then, Lewis meets him. He makes him do things he’d never dreamed of, including crossing the Atlantic ocean to find a group of people that claim to be like him, and, invariably, falling in love. The story of the boy that was born with wings, afraid of heights, and the man that teaches him how to fly.

A/N:I understand this is unrealistic, but I assure you that besides the angel wing part, the rest is rather realistic…it’s my view on --if that happened, how would the world react? How would parents react? How would the person in question be after a life of those reactions? This is truly a coming of age story as well as a romance…the wings are a metaphor for being different in any way. I really want to write this story, especially.

3) Humor/Romance: The life of a reluctantly adorable pathological liar is never easy. But the truth hurts, liars will always lie, and besides, mendacity is so much easier than facing reality. “Where is your gym uniform, young man?” “My dog ate it.” “…Again?”

Snippet of his personality, conversation between him and random surfer dude:

“So…you surf, man?”

“Better than you.”

“Oh really?”

“You better believe it. I would whoop your ass all over that water.”

“I’m a pro.”

“So am I.”

“What’s your name?”

“Can’t tell you.”

“….Uh, why?”

“I’m in the witness protection program. I saw a man die.”

What?”

“I killed a man.”

“Uh…dude….”

“I’m a mafia boss. Don’t let my age fool you.”

(starting to see he’s full of shit) “So…did you want to surf or what?”

“Surf? Surfing is for pansies.” (promptly walks away and leaves surfer dude wondering what just happened)

A/N: Honestly, this is all about the character. I haven’t developed much of a plot for it yet, so just about everything is negotiable. I wanted to write with this character that talks only in lies, and just…can’t help it. He things ‘yes’ and says ‘no’ as a compulsion. There are some interesting opportunities for plot. Takers?

4) . Matthew knows it’s a sin, but he’d really like Rabbi Cohen ravish him against the chapel wall. Hey, that’s not lying with another man…Technically. Set in the Jewish community in modern day, Matthew is twenty and has been hopelessly in love with Tav Cohen since he was twelve (and Tav was 19). The wonderful revelation that Matt can actually sing in Hebrew is met by the terrible revelation that, after eight years of watching in the shadows, Tav doesn’t even know his name. He’s determined to be at least his friend, but with partnership in the Temple and friendship outside of it comes a great amount of sexual tension…and soon Matt realizes he’s not the only one feeling it.

A/N: Not sure what the response to this one will be…I’m Jewish, so I’ll help with all the details on that sort of thing, but I’m having a hard time getting this one going although I have some great ideas. If no one wants to co-write this, maybe just a dedicated, thorough beta? I know I’ll write this one either way eventually, but it’d be nice to have someone to keep me on track.

I'm nearly done with BTM so that's why I'm thinking this through. One or two more chapters of that story, for real this time. And I enjoy cowriting a lot, you make good friends and get to know like-minded writers.

I really hope this goes over well…I’m hoping at least one of these gets responses…will anyone even want to write with me? I hope so. Please review this to tell me your interested, with your email (if anonymous) or I can just PM you to give you mine. Even if you don’t want to co-write with me, a thoughtful review on what you think of the ideas, or your favorite would help out too. XD
