What is this feeling?

What is this longing?

Like something’s missing from her life.

And when she thinks about it all she feels is strife.

She can’t explain what she feels at night.

And all she can do to stop herself is fight.

On the outside she’s bright and cheery,

But in her mind, she is confused and weary.

All she want’s is for someone to understand.

Someone to comfort her and lend a hand.

But there’s no one who understands.

No one to comfort her and lend a hand.
