Love isn't a rose
It isn't sweet
It isn't a fairytale dream
Love hurts
It is painful,
It tears and burns,
your fragile heart
True love is a lie
One we all buy,
hoping that it will,
make us whole
It crumbles the weak
and topples the strong,
a world full of woe
is where our hearts belong
