Unwritten Words (May 13, 2009)

The hours pass, turning night slowly into day.

Common sense begs for rest

A thousand unwritten words run through my brain

Puzzle pieces waiting to be placed

Into a creative melting pot of prose.

It's like a familiar song-

I know the melody well

But the words stumble out from my lips.

Ideas so strong in my thoughts, yet so easily forgotten.

Pen to paper, and the realization strikes me.

Where do I begin? What do I write?
