Sometimes I Dream.

Sometimes I dream,

Of darkness and death.

The sadness, My fear of loneliness.

My body starts to shake as I grab at the sheets,

Tears falling from my eyes, I don't know I'm asleep.

I think to myself,” Am I dreaming or awake?”

At that very moment I see your face.

Confused and upset I cry out to you,

”Why do you love me I'm nothing more then a beast!”

Then you fade away as I fall into something like an abyss,

But while I'm falling I hear your voice.

It calls to me as I feel your warm touch,

You call to me waking me out of my nightmare.

As I open my eyes I hold you tight and whisper,

”Please don't let me go,Don't let me fall, Promise me that.”

Then I lay my head back down not making another sound
