Everybody Loves Kyley

Kyley Kingston is the type of girl who wants to find true love, but it's hard to do when she has glasses,braces,and weighs 130. She feels the only good thing about her is her voice. When one day her friend introduces Kyley to online dating she finds Derek. He lives in New York. They end up starting a long distance relationship.

Kyley always had Dylan. They grew up together, but Dylan was a jerk to her. Now Dylan wants to get more involved with her. Dylan and Derek have something in common and it's not just Kyley. Dylan is left alone when Kyley moves.

A year later she comes back. She looks great. She lost weight,glasses,and her braces, but she brought back Derek. Everyone discovers a secret. Kyley get mixed emotions. She finally chooses, but when an old friend pops up...lets just say things get CRAZY. When the school play gets crazy so will Kyley's relationship. Chapter 1

(Kyley)

Hi,my name is Kyley Kingston. I'm 14 and I was having the best week ever until—the first day of 8th grade. You see, my best friend, Morgan, introduced me to online dating because I didn't think I was beautiful. I mean who would, Morgan always told me that my hair was as bright and shiny as the sun. Also, that my eyes were crystal blue. I didn't think so because I weighed about 130 pounds and I had braces. Plus, glasses to go with that, I wasn't exactly what boys called sexy and beautiful. I really didn't like the thought of meeting new people. I mean there's a lot of dangerous people.

She told me this. “It's perfectly safe.....well at least this website is. The only people allowed on here is your friends.”

“Huh?” I say a little confused.

“This website is perfectly safe. You can only access this website if your 3 of you friends invite you.”

“So?” I say sounding annoyed.

“So that means there's not gonna be bad people.” She quotes bad people sarcastically.

“I'll try it for a week, that's it.”

On the 2nd day is when I met Derek.

Derek is so amazing and adorable. He is 14 just like me. He has brown spiky hair and brown eyes to match his beautiful perfect smile. We've only seen each other in picture's, but he still likes me for me. He makes me feel like the only girl in the world. We talk about everything on the Internet. We use to talk on the phone but my parents didn't like paying the bills every month. So eventually my parents got me a cell phone.

One day we were talking and he started telling me about his family. He lived with his mom because his parents were divorced. He had a brother that lived in my neighborhood. That was really cool. I didn't ask him for his brother's name though. I get really nervous when we start talking about our families. We've been talking for two months now. My mom didn't like it because she said we were getting to serious. We weren't even dating.....yet.

It was a week before school started and Derek and I were getting pretty serious now. I got online to check my message's and I had one from Derek. It said:

Kyley, I know we've only known each other for almost 3 months now

but,I really like you so will you be my girlfriend?

I felt like I was on a cloud nine. I immediately said "yes.” I was so happy, I had to tell Morgan. She was so proud of me she started to tell me about her boyfriend, Nick Parker, and how they first met. They've been together for awhile now. So I was having the best week ever because I got a boyfriend and he was perfect.

I was so happy to go to school because I couldn't wait to tell everyone about Derek. I told most of my friends about him, but not actually in detail. Derek and I talked every night until he had to go to sleep which was around 2:00 am. It was almost time for school when my stomach started to hurt. I was getting really nervous about tomorrow. First day of 8th grade and I feel like I'm going to throw-up. I don't know why I feel this way maybe because of meeting everyone.

I walk into school and the first people I see are my friends. My friends are so amazing and nice. We have our own little group. Morgan is in it(of course) Katie my second best friend, and Ari and Kori they're twins who argue a lot I might add. Destiny, she's really shy and quiet, but when she does talk she's awesome. We start talking about our summer and how well it was. They start questioning me about Derek and I answer everyone with pride. I think I'm starting to fall in love with him, but not yet. Just then the bell rings and I walk toward my first period class, science.

I walk into Mr. Brinkley's room and notice everyone from last year only a couple few new faces. The people that stand out the most are the jocks sitting on the desk in the back. I absolutely hate the jocks. There so mean to everyone. There's about 10 of them and of course there in the same 1st period. The one I hate the most is there leader, Dylan.

The class starts and Mr. Brinkley starts to assign seats. Knowing the teacher he puts me by none other than Dylan. The class goes by real quickly, but there's still 15 minutes left and I'm almost done with my work. I keep glancing at Dylan because for some reason I care about Dylan. He looks really hurt. Dylan always gets done 5 minutes before me. For a jock,Dylan is super smart. I get done with my work with 5 minutes to spare. I walk up to turn in my paper and come back to find that my pencil is missing. I knew Dylan couldn't go a least a whole class without messing with me. I roll my eyes and turn to him.

"Give me my pencil."

He turns around and says "I don't have your pencil."

I was about to tell him off when the bell rings. He gets up and throws the pencil to me. I watch him walk away and wonder why he has to be that way. It's a real mystery. He's been that way ever since 3rd grade. I gather up my books and leave the classroom. I go out and find Morgan waiting for me outside to go to our next class.

Before I get ahead of myself let me tell you about Dylan. Dylan has dark brown scruffy hair. He has dark brown eyes. Dylan and I have known each other ever since kindergarten. Our parents for some reason never live more than a block away from each other. They're always in denial. They say "You to look great as a couple." I use to have a crush on him when we younger, but that kind of faded when we got into 3rd grade. You see, thats when I met Brad. Brad was my boyfriend for awhile, but he moved away because of his parents' jobs. When Brad and I were dating that's when I noticed that Dylan started hanging around the jocks and started to be mean to me. I guess that's when we stopped talking. Dylan became a jerk and I became a nerd if you would call it. That's history now. You can't change what happen, but I was going to find out one way or another.

Morgan and I walk to our next class which is reading. I actually like reading it makes me feel....feel...something I can't explain. I like believing in fairy tales. I've always wondered if there was a prince charming for me.

“What's wrong?” Morgan always knows when somethings wrong with me. I tell her the story about what happened in Science. She thinks just like me so she hates the jocks also. Except for Nick of course. She's in love with Nick.

“Always and Forever.” She says.

I've always been a little jealous of her because of Nick. Nick looks at her like she's the only girl in the world. I've always wanted a guy to look at me like that. Now, I have Derek. I bet if he was here he would look at me like that. Morgan and I sit by the window to talk about the weekend and what were going to do. Classes go by really quickly and I've had no more problems. I walk home,do my homework,and get on the computer and talk to Derek. This is probably going to be my regular routine.

Derek told me he had his first day of school too. He said is was pretty boring at the most part. He had the nerve to tell me about this girl that was flirting with him. That really made me mad because she lived in New York and I couldn't do anything about her. Derek and I talked until 9 this time because my mom said it was a school night. I went to sleep and woke up for another boring day at school.

I was really happy and giggly because I woke up to go get the mail when I got a box from Derek. It was wrapped in the most beautiful wrapping paper ever. There was a note attached to the box it said:

Hey beautiful, hope this box gets to you safely. I want you to wear this always and forever. Well if we stay that long together. Hope this present makes every girl jealous of you.

I opened the package and out came this golden ring. It had a small diamond in it, but it was so cute. While I was running to the house I was putting it on. It looked so shiny. I showed it to my mom and she just looked at it and away. At that moment I think fell in love with Derek. Even though my mom didn't approve.
