Broken Soul

This pain I feel is oh so real.

Like shattered glass, It's such a thrill.

I turn to you, As you disappear.

Then I realize you where never there.

I close my eyes to listen.

As my soul begins to glisten.

In the light, But always out of sight.

Peering into the eyes of a stranger,

Not knowing the danger.

Fearless and Incomplete.

Remembering the past,

And the times we made last.

Knowing that we'll never be.

Hearing it scream out to me.
