I want to go to the playground.
Freely prance away from every problem.
Engines ahead to make-believe land.
Candy pop dances on the metal.
Sun shines a smile on the weeds.
Grass overshadows them with green crowns.
Crows fly at the playground
Cleaning away the garbage of all.
A man watches his child with protection
As his wife fools around with the other man.
They play basketball after smoking.
A cough rampages his lungs.
Smack the drink cup down a little harder,
You'll get new habits for later in life.
She begins to cry as she falls from the swing.
Her blonde hair will one day be black.
Just one more day of my innocents as I play.
The playground is safe.
Corruption lingers beyond.
A/N: Corruption leaks in.
