Have you ever made a paper flower?
They're quite lovely, you should know.
Pretty easy to make, too.
I love how you can make them so beautiful and intricate, or so simple, if you like.
Something about them are so simplistic, so childlike and naïve.
So, I don't know… welcoming and charming.
One look at one, and it could completely brighten your day.
But the problem with paper flowers?
All it takes is one wrong move;
One raindrop,
One little flame,
One tiny mistake,
And it's broken beyond repair.
I guess that's why they've always reminded me a bit of myself.
