'One Goes This Way, One Goes That Way'*

We're entering our Junior year.

One goes this way, one goes that way.

One friend goes to College to be an Architect.

One friend goes to College to be a Registered Nurse.

One friend you don't know where he's going.

One friend goes to a school to be a Teacher.

That friend who wants to be an Architect

will be to busy to talk for he is studying.

That friend who wants to be a Registered Nurse

is one you might get to talk to, but she'll be to busy

to really talk.

That friend where you don't know where they're going

will be one of those friends you lose complete contact with.

That friend going to school to be a teacher

will be left standing in the rain while her other

friends go off and do there own thing with

no time to talk to her.

* This poem is dedicated to me and three other friends. This is how I see it. This is how I perceive our future to be...
