Keep Ogling

“Freak! Can’t you stop staring at me!?”

“For your information, I certainly am not staring at you.”

A pause.

“And I am not a freaking freak.”

A snort.

“Yea right, I know you for 7 years, and I’m pretty sure you’re a freak, freak.”

A voice boomed, “Mr. Jordans! Ms. Evans! Pay attention!”

“Sorry Mrs. Ackerman,” chorused Gio and Cher.

Gio rolled his eyes and whispered to his right, “That’s your fault there, Cee.” Cher’s right hand reached to Gio’s ear, and pulled it.

“Nope, that’s your fault, freak.”

“Ouch!”

“You deserve it,” Cher said as she let go of Gio’s ear.

“If I’m such a…,” Gio makes air quotations with his two hands,”…freak as you put it. Why is that most girls in Bloomstone High want me?”

Cher turned to her left and glared. “Giovanno Jordans, you’re such a…a….”

“Hottie?” Gio offered as he grinned. “Yea, I know.”

The school bell rang.

“That’s it people. Any questions?”

Silence.

“Oh, alrighty then. You’re all dismissed. Have a nice day!” Mrs. Ackerman said as she went out of the class.

Cher and Gio stood up as Cher snarled, her fingers flying to Gio’s neck. “You ARROGANT SELFISH–“

“Cutie? Yea, I know that too,” butted Gio.

“URGH!”

Gio laughed as he hugged Cher. “Awww…..don’t be like that Cee. You know you love me~”

Cher crossed her arms as she blew her bangs out of her face and said, “And I know you stared at me like I’m a piece of meat.”

Gio’s eyes widened in mock surprise. “Cher Evans, you know I don’t stare at you! I ogle at you!”

“Yea, yea. I know you’ll never admit it Gio. But I’m pretty sure you’re st–“ Cher’s eyes widened. “Wait, WHA!?”

Gio laughed as he put his chin on Cher’s shoulder, right beside Cher’s face. “I’ve been ogling at you for months, Cher. You didn’t notice that?”

Cher’s nose scrunched in disgust. “Ew. You’re freaking ogling at me? That’s worse than staring!” exclaimed Cher as she pushed Gio away.

Gio chuckled as he hugged Cher again, with force this time. “You know, for a girlfriend, you’re pretty feisty when I’m asking for a little display of PDA like hugs.”

Cher blinked as she looked up to Gio. “I never knew straight guys knew what PDA stood for. Are you actually a homo?”

“If you mean Homo sapiens, yes.”

“And this is the first time I knew guys like you know what Homo sapiens are.”

Gio give a peck to Cher’s forehead and said, “Well, I’m not your regular guy.”

“’Cause you ogle instead of staring at your girlfriend?”

“Well, yes, apparently.”

Cher blinked and smirked. “What are you waiting for then? Keep ogling,” she said as she planted a quick kiss to Gio’s lips.

Gio blinked. “That’s so…..brief.”

“You want a longer one?”

Smirking, Gio replied, “Do you have to ask?”
