"Mushy Wedding Song"

These are the words,
To a mushy wedding song,
So we can all feel good,
And learn to get along!

When two people love eachother,
And want to live together,
We have a great big wedding,
To wish them a life better.

Because a few years after this,
She'll trip over their cat,
And fall onto the floor,
Squishing his best hat flat,

Then he'll come home that day,
Walking into the door,
As the cat runs away,
His wife lies on the floor,

He'll get really mad,
And shout and yell and scream,
As she gets up feeling bad,
Their marriage falls apart at the seams,

They'll have a great big fight,
Being mad at eachother as could be,
And for the next three weeks,
She'll serve nothing but cold chili,

But after those three weeks,
He'll see the error of his ways,
And spend twenty-five bucks,
On a great big rose bouquet,

As she smells the flowers,
She'll cry many happy tears,
Then they'll forgive eachother,
For the next fifty-four and a half years,

And now we say goodbye,
After singing this song so long,
But don't ask for a refund,
'Cuz it's a mushy wedding song!
