Koi
Author:
Samurai-Soldier PM
I'm waiting for the truth to make itself known to the rest of the world, but i'm afraid it's playing coy with me. Isn't that how the truth always acts?

Koi:

To wait,
To drown,
To float along happily
Happily.

Ah! But
How deep do we go before
We've realized we can't?

How much must we choke on land
Before we find common ground?

No,
Ignore the ice solidifying above us,
Within us,
Answer me now
Before your coldness freezes the emotion.
How long?

And don't you play koi with me,
I can't hold my breath that long.
