Come Rain or Snow

The snow was washed away by the rain

Icy ribbons flowing through the gaps

Last night the white gathered on the fields

Everything turned bright

Everything illuminated with the glow

A sky opening above their heads

But the crisp sky was overtaken by the clouds

The icy padding beneath their feet

Melted with the bitter rain

Life turning back into a swirl of gray

Black and blue

The frosting on my heart was washed away by his tears

Hot ribbons streaming through the empty gaps in my heart

Last night his pure white gathered all through my head

Everything turned bright

Everything illuminated with his glow

The sky was finally opening up above my head

But the clarity to where I was going was overtaken by a glitch

The icy padding protecting my vulnerable heart

Melted with his façade of salty tears

Life turning back into a swirl of gray

As the liar lay black, blue and broken at my feet

A/N: I'm feeling so uninspired at the moment, Im hardly ever posting poetry, 'cause I dont have any, or any motivation to write.
