Do you fear the butterfly, like any mortal would?
If you don't, I tell you this: you really, really should.
Like tiny guardians of the light, they'll find you in your need;
Seduce you with their innocence, and then begin to feed
Upon the face they will alight, and this I do not lie
A red proboscis will unfold and go into your eye
They'll burrow deep into your head,
They'll eat you up until you're dead
And when they're done with their fleshy feast
They leave the rest for bird and beast.
It's a little dark, but I got the idea from watching a swarm of butterflies. It was rather creepy, to say the least.
