Not Tomorrow
One day you may realise,
That you lost the world
In the form of a paperplane,
Gliding past your window.
A letter to yourself,
Never to do what you didnt,
Always to do what you could,
And that lies are the truth you choose.
It wasnt that I attempted
To prolong the life of the sunset.
I just couldnt see my shadow
Pass me by in the wind.
And the night always falls
Faster than you imagined.
Like the sunrise ceased to exist,
Never burning with intensity.
Couldnt seems like a lie,
And yesterday a dream.
Tomorrow is already fading
As much as your words.
As much as the traces of my hope
Taken with you,
In the words of your
Goodbye.
