All my time I spend waiting

Waiting for something to happen

Wasting my hours

Trying to take up time

Till something finally happens

Crimson walls pushing in

Causing my lungs to seize

I just need more time

So I can wait for something to happen

Expecting fallen expectations

From the awaiting self assurance

That something worthwhile will happen

I just don't know what to wait for anymore

All of my time I spend preparing

For no one to take notice

Wasting my hours

Trying to look my best

Till someone finally takes notice

Crimson cheeks falling down

Causing my face to sour

I just need a sign

So I can know someone is noticing

Expecting fallen expectations

From the awaiting self assurance

That something worthwhile will happen

I just don't know why I try anymore
