Straight from places far beneath the earth

Into the awaiting air

Coating everything in a luminous shine

Leaves spiraling and falling like lonely children

Straight of delicate bone arms

Into the awaiting air

Coating the ground in a crisp darkness

Hearts breaking and cascading from broken wings

Straight from a place no one wanted

Into the awaiting air

Coating our faces in gleaming tears
