I just want to twirl in my own troubles,

Spin in my own tornado.

Leave me alone—

Inside my head

Is my only home

And I’m tried of disguising

My voice on the phone.

---

I’m tired of killing myself

Without actually dying,

Of accomplishing sadness

Without even trying.

Just give me a break—

One less dream to wake,

One less smile to fake.

---

I’m so tired of disguising

My voice on the phone.

I’m so tired of trying—

Just leave me alone.

---

Twirling in a twitching tornado,

Never thought this could be so.

I want to leave, let me be,

Want to scream, “Let me be me!”

Racing though the fire with no

Cares and no desires.

Never thought I’d hang

From a simple, splitting wire.

---

Let me die, just say goodbye,

Let me die and don’t ask why.
