Death of the Shadows
ForeverBehindTheImpression

*~*

Mixing shadows with reality

Blooming flowers reach for skies

Minds casting dainty illusions on themselves

How can we mix something so unreal

With something that is always going to be there?

But what if the tree were to die?

Would its shadow follow too?

What if the flower were to wilt?

Would it still have the strength to reach?

What if the mind was to disappear?

Would the illusions create themselves?

How could that be possible?

Because you're not always going to be here

I know, at some point you will leave

And just like the shadow, aspiration and illusions

I will follow

*~*

A/N: Did you like it? Another poem I wrote while sitting in the gardens :D
