After all that has happened here..." Sort of an end-of-the-world/new-beginning poem. Sad, kind of hopeless tone. It just popped into my head this morning, so R and R please!

After All by AndromedaMarine
After all that has happened here...
The rain will fall, you will
shed a tear.
And time slowly passes by our eyes...
And through
the darkness you hear the cries...
There's no point in trying, my dear.
There's no point in
making the clouds disappear.
There is no reason to make me
care.
There is no reason to go anywhere.
Disaster, disaster!
The fate of our home!
Disaster,
disaster!
Now we have to roam!
The skies are grey with a gloomy fate.
The wolves will bay till it
grows too late.
And after all that has happened here...
The
rain will fall, you will shed a tear.
A photograph showing happy days,
Look in the past for the proper
ways,
Yet after all that has happened here...
The rain will
fall, you will shed a tear.
Disaster, disaster!
The fate of our home!
Disaster,
disaster!
Now we have to roam!
A salty ocean of sadness calls.
The waves foreshadow the one who
falls.
Irrational fear has swept over him...
And the light will
fade, our hope grows dim.
The treason of war is a tragic flaw
Like a monster gaping its
rancid maw.
So after all that has happened here...
The dawn
awakes. The sun appears.
