Where others dream

Among rainbows

I dwell in raindrops.

I smell the sickly moist

And waste through pallid gray.

I am frigid, yet warmer

Than I’ve ever been.

There is light beyond darkness

And it is the end.

The end of conflict;

The end of torment—

The face of peace

That warms with sights of me.

I am sorry, but I must go.

Tomorrow holds no time

To break the silence

And much rather would I

Become the silence.
