The Children Moerose

Arthur and Celia of the family Moerose

Had thirteen children between them

Six sweet girls and seven sweet boys

Loved fully of halfly between them

Margret the oldest then Slayton came second

Norabel followed with Ophelia behind

Then came Dame followed quickly by Lowell

Eugenia and Jethro came out in a pair

Finley came fighting with Rowena to follow

Gideon was easy and Asher a pain

Then poor little Orson was last

Now Margret is the oldest

She did a silly thing

She took her former boy friend

And killed him with a string

She flung the string around his throat

And yanked until he choked

She yanked and pulled, he spluttered and bulled

She yanked and now he's croaked

Then there was young Slayton

Slayton, slender and tall

He takes the girls who love him

And nails them to the wall

He lets them hang there, bloody

Until their hearts don't beat

And then he takes their bodies

And throws them in the street

Norabel the horrible

A name that is not light

She looks for little critters

And kills them out of spite

Little bunny rabbits,

Squirrels and chipmunks too

She takes their broken bodies

And throws them in the stew

Then beautiful Ophelia

The little flower bud

Takes all of her admirers

And drains them of their blood

For of nothing in this whole world

Is better shampoo made

Then from the scarlet, sticky blood

Of people freshly slayed

Dame was always moody

She never cracked a grin

Unless she was proceeding

To rip off someone's skin

She'd set it out to dry

And when it was all through

She'd take it to the needle

And stitch a fancy shoe

Lowell was always speedy

He'd do things very quick

He saw a short old lady

And killed her with a brick

He threw it at her skull

And when it hit its mark

He took her purse and money

Then proceeded to embark

Jethro and Eugenia

A perfect team they'd make

They took a couple passing by

And burned them at the stake

Oh how their flesh did sizzle

And steam rushed from their eyes

And when the deed was over with

Such a terrible demise

Now Finley had a temper

He was always one for rage

He took those fools who crossed him

And threw them in a cage

He left them there a while

And when they were nearly dead

He'd take an axe and show them

Then relieve them of their head

Rowena was a sweetie

She always liked a joke

She loved to laugh and giggle

The best one for a croak

Her friend, she didn't like it

To her it was no jest

Rowena took a butchers knife

And stabbed her in her chest

Gideon and Asher

They shared a common wrath

So when the kitten scratched them

They drowned her in the bath

But cats don't like the water

So to complete their whims

They took a hatchet to the cat

And removed all of its limbs

Orson is the youngest

Such a sweet boy is he

He's killed off all of him nannies

Since he was only three

He'd tie their limbs together

Stow them beneath his bed

He'd check them every morning

Until he was sure their dead

Arthur and Celia of the family Moerose

Had thirteen children between them

Six sweet girls and seven sweet boys

Loved fully of halfly between them.
