The One Sense I'd Rather Keep

Very empty life would be without sound

Excitement of automatic fire

Merriment when singing a lovely round

Resentment listening to a liar

Relaxing is the sound of the ocean

Clashing on our lips are drops of rain

Swaying are the trees' branches in motion

Strumming guitar "The Diary of Jane"

Joyful are cries of a baby newborn

Beautiful is her voice that always calms

Dreadful are the cries for the dead we mourn

Meaningful are the words spoken in Psalms

Without noise, where would be my fateful cue

My life is beautiful, with sound and you
