The sunset
I think of him and me,
from now until forever.
He looks at me,
as he repeats my name
and he loves me
nothing else matters,
because he loves me.
And I love him too.
Birds sing in the park,
as we watch the sunset.
And I can see,
for the first time
the purples and blues
they light up the sky,
and he kisses me.
The moment passes,
almost too quickly,
then I open my eyes,
and I realize I never left,
it was all a daydream,
nothing really happened,
I'm still sitting in my room,
it was all a daydream,
I sigh as I close my eyes,
once again slipping away.
