Pulling Away The Ivy
HighOnBrokenWings
*~.~*
Ivy covers the tree bark
Clinging to it like a second skin
Keeping in its secrets
But paining it all the same
As it slowly tightens around its neck
This ivy is holding me so tight now
I can't breathe
I can't think
I can't live
But without it I feel so bare
So vulnerable
Alone in this big world
When my only reason for living
Destroys any life I could have
It’s probably time to tear the ivy from my limbs
In hope that being alone
Is better than dying together
Forever dependent on you
*~.~*
A/N: As you probably noticed I signed this as by HighOnBrokenWings, when Im ForeverBehindTheImpression. Why, you ask? Because this is the extended version of the poem Sienna wrote in my story These Lives I Walk, and since I wrote that when I was HighOnBrokenWings, Im going to leave it that way.
The shorter, "Sienna" version of this poem can be found in chapter 15 of These Lives I Walk, so, if you liked this poem, and are wondering what the story behind it could be then go and check that poem out. Theres a link on my page.
Love, guys :) XxX
