Organic
Tree dotted horizon
Green on a pale blue
A canvas to be painted
In all of earth's tones
Soft white baby clouds
With birds in a V
Suddenly, a plane's vapor trail
Disturbs the scene
Birds fall to the ground
Death in their eyes
Peace and joy—gone
Another animal existent
Water waves lap
Fish swim freely
Around soda cans and plastic bags
Suffocated by only us
Trees lay broken
Sawed and stripped
Rain forests are the past
And only a wish
Time elapses
And one cannot see
The birds and fish being free
Trees are a myth
And oceans are deadly
Now who can we blame
But our very selves?
