I made a lot of new friends as I grew up this is true

But absolutely honestly none as good as you

Your were there when I fell down andstill there when I rose

Ifbeing a friend was a national sport I’m sure you would make the pros

You always seemed to when I needed you to be

You don’t see me the way others do a different person is what you see

Yo8u truly aremy BEST friend I know that much is true

Because in this world I’ll never find one as good as you

Loyalty and honesty are traits you proudly show

And what exactly wrong with me you always seem to know

I’m just writing this to show you and I hope that you’ll agree

I don’t thind you’ll find another friend as close to you as me

But I’m also here for staying at my side

And always seeming to find me even when I hide
