As I fall deeper into the Abyss,
I fall deeper into darkness,
And everything around me grows cold.
Losing hope and joy,
Sucked into the walls of this pit,
And the eyes watch as I fall.
The light at the top grows smaller,
More distant,
Fading away from me.

The tears roll down my cheeks,
With my heavy shoulders,
And reaching out for help.
And a few hands reach out to me,
Trying to save me from this fall,
And I try so hard to grab on.
I try so hard,
I try to reach out over and over,
I try…

Will you save me from this fall,
From the gloom of this world,
And the pain in my heart?
Can I be saved,
From the guilt and regret,
And the burden I carry?
Please I beg you,
Grab my hand and don’t let go,
Don’t let me fall any farther into the Abyss.
