Aren’t you sick of this nutty love craze?

The ear-shattering giggles and the loving-gaze?

All of the girls skip to the same beat.

Thoughts of a guy they have yet to meet.

It’s sickening really, wouldn’t you agree?

You should, at least to some degree.

A love spell has been cast upon the earth!

But no one really knows what its worth.

Does the human race even know love?

Or any feelings thereof?

Do we even know the feeling of a heart drum?

Or the loving whispers that sound like a hum?

Of course not, we humans are silly.

Our hearts are cold and chilly.

We don’t know much about anything except greed.

It’s from that source from which we feed.

It may seem that I am insulting my own kind

Oh no, no! That would be a terrible bind!

If you will lean in and listen closely,

I am not human, well mostly.

I am a person in denial to tell you the truth.

It’s not like I’m an alien, you silly youth!

However, I am not normal as you would say

But it is just my way of getting through the day.

I abused Rhyme Zone soooooo much in this one. It was late and I started getting lazy. Idk maybe I didn’t use it as much as I think I did. Who knows?

I come up with all of it, it’s usually just he last word on each line that trips me up. So the poems are completely original, but sometimes I need some rhyme help. I hope that doesn’t make me come off as uncreative or devious.
