Fiction

Hush now I was just a silent being,

see how my intentions show no destination,

a fiction of ravishing imagination.

Come take flight like that foolish angel,

my words seething destiny of wings,

a feather tainted in ink of my fiction.

I help you discover comprehension,

in my fairy tale imaginariness fiction,

and the cicadas steal reality.

Violins admired quietly in the corner,

help me to become a virtuous angel,

tunes soothing the reality to fiction.

My eyes just want to see that end,

ancient tales of a boy repeating,

in my fairy tale of words.

See how my flights of imagination,

ignite the ice of contradiction,

senses betraying the version of I.

Melody written in words,

force you into submission here,

angels silently fluttering.

A flutterby painting the scenery,

of my fairy tale in tune,

former love fading here and there.

I was just always dreaming,

of that perfect tale in the night,

a king shining through the clouds.

I would write,

random words,

on imaginary papers.

A midnight sun hangs in my sky,

brightly shining black,

the fairy tale laying my desk.

Scribbled into the surface,

wood scratched by sharp reality,

erasing fiction not possible.

I was just a silent being,

screaming words of comprehension,

sighting reality in fiction.

Knowing only you can dare to,

submit to my quest,

fantasy drenching these papers.

Invention directing us away,

in pain there is no reality,

long forgotten and left.
