Days
Nnaliseaai
A
rabbit watches me as I past by,
Twitching his nose from side to
side.
Birds escape to the sky,
Hurrying away before the leaves
have died.
The
sun gleams overhead
As the clouds drift lazily from end to
end.
Flowers slowly close their buds
Their bright colors hidden
Breezes
sway the trees and they softly groan
As if tenderly asking, "Why
don't you stay?"
"I can not stay," I say
"for summer
days is where I stay."
All
the leaves are seeming green but soon to be browns, goldens, reds
It
is almost harvest time and little creatures will prepare their winter
beds.
I will be back again and this I will say
Goodbye for now
but look for me as warm days come to stay.
