Title: There comes a time in every mans life when he has to get married

It was the day before the wedding. Greg was packing his bag for the honeymoon and also a bag for his mother's house; he will be spending the night there while Jason sleeps at their apartment. Greg kissed Jason on the head as he slept soundly. Placed a note on his pillow for Jason to see when he wakes up. He picked up his bag and said goodbye to the babies; he kissed and hugged them. He finally left and closed the door softly.

Hart house…

Greg walked into the house and put his stuff down. Ginger came from around the corner and hugged him.

" Hey Ging, what's going on… Where's mom?" Greg asked letting go of the hug.

" Mom's sleeping. I made breakfast though. You want some?"

" You cooked? … Ah no thank you my wedding is tomorrow I don't need to die the day before." He laughed. She slapped him on the arm and walked away smiling.

Greg followed her into the kitchen.

" Sucks that I can't be in your wedding… why couldn't you have been a girl?" She trailed off.

" Hey! I take offence to that. I know you love having a brother though, aren't I the best?" He smirked. Ginger glared at him and smiled.

" Yes I'm glad I have you. But being 16 and having no one else at home is good too." She smirked back.

" True being 16 and the only child home is great." He smiled.

" Hi guys. My Goodness feels like the first day of school or something." Mrs. Hart laughed as she walking into the kitchen.

" Hi mom." Hs said kissing her on the cheek. " I Saw your stuff by the stairs I almost tripped over it thank you." He said giving him a look. He shied away.

" Sorry…" She smiled and put a bowl of grapes on the counter. Ginger and Greg's face lit up.

" You thinking what I'm thinking?" Ginger asked staring at the grapes.

" See who can fit more grapes into their mouths with out eating them?" He said staring as well.

" Yup."

" Ok!" They dove into them shoving the grapes one by one into their mouths. Mrs. Hart rolled her eyes and laughed.

The apartment…

Jason opened his eyes slowly and groggily. He sat up and looked at Greg's side. He saw the note on Greg's pillow and picked it up.

" Jason please read this when you wake up…" Jason read out loud reading the front. He opened it and read the rest.

" Hey love, just wanted to let you know I'm at my mom's now. It's bad luck to see the bride the day before the wedding. Just kidding babe. I love you ad I can't wait to marry you tomorrow. I can't wait for the moment where we both say 'I do' All right well you're going to wake up soon. I love you… oh I fed the babies and they are napping now. Have fun! Love, Your soon to be husband Greg." He smiled and put the note on his chest and stretched. He rolled over and giggled into Greg's pillow. He was so happy.

Jason went to go pick up his tux from the tailor's. He got his and Chris's ties while he was there. Chris was spending the night at Jason's and Lex was with Greg over at his moms. Christy was with Chris and Jason. Adam had gone with Greg and Lex. The babies were being baby sat for the wedding since there was no one who would be able to take care of them at the wedding. Chris was at the apartment watching the kids. Jason finally came back home with the tuxes and placed them over the counter.

Chase was walking around with a crayon in one hand and a quarter of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which happened to also take over his face. Jason smiled and picked him up and cuddled him.

" What did you do? Huh little guy, what?" He said wiping his face with a wet paper towel.

" Hey Jason, How come Emi isn't walking?"

" I don't know. I have been working with her on walking, but she just seems to not want to."

" You know you should get that checked out. I mean if Chase has already grasped the concept Emi should have too."

" What do you mean checked out? Emi's perfectly fine." He said smugly.

" I'm just saying it could be a number of things. For instance it could be that she late when it comes to development, or even Down syndrome." He shrugged.

" Oh my God Chris why the hell would you say that?" He said picking Emi up and cuddling her.

" I'm just saying Jason. I didn't say she did have it. I'm not a doctor I don't know-"

" Yeah, you don't know. So stop talking about it!" Jason snapped. Chris flinched and sighed.

" Alright Jason I'm sorry I said that. I think Emi is perfectly fine. Maybe you should get therapy with her then. You know, work with her there. They do it as though you were going in for speech therapy. They help you teach her and get her up so she can walk."

" Yeah I guess… Thanks Chris and I'm sorry I snapped. I'm just worried and nervous about tomorrow." Chris nodded and waved it off.

" Kids develop at their own rate. I should give it time." Jason said kissing the top of Emi's head. " Chase is just smart I guess… Not that Emi isn't, she just isn't as fast… I mean at developing, I didn't mean in the head."

" Jason calm down I understand what you're saying." Chris laughed.

" I didn't call her stupid, we at least I didn't mean to if I did." He said about to cry.

" Relax you didn't." He said pulling Jason into a hug.

" Everything is fine Jason she will be fine trust me." Chris said rubbing Jason back. Jason breathed in deep and let out a big sigh. He relaxed and sat down. The babies were in the playpen and the kids were playing in the living room.

Later…

" So you hungry?"

" When aren't I hungry Jason?" Chris laughed rubbing his stomach. Jason laughed with him.

" So do you know what you're having?"

" Yup, it's a not telling."

" Hey! Come on I want to know!" Jason said placing a sandwich in front of Chris. The kids had already eaten and were off to sleep.

" No, I'm not telling you're just going to have to wait." Chris laughed. Jason rolled his eyes.

" SO…are you Greg going to have anymore kids?" Chris asked biting into the sandwich.

" We talked about it." He shrugged looking down.

" You don't seem happy about it."

" I'm kind of not. Well I do want more kids, but then I kind of don't."

" Why not, It's so much fun!"

" Yeah but it's not like the Sims where I can age the baby when ever the hell I want. I have to go through all of the crying and everything all over again. I'm not doing it."

" But I thought Greg wanted to have the baby. Like carrying it?"

" Yeah, but again I still have to take care of it when it comes out. Two is hard enough. I don't know how you're going to do it?"

" Adam and Christy go to preschool soon." Chris smiled with happiness. Jason laughed.

" There is your answer." They both laughed.

WEDDING DAY!

May 8th…

No one was standing still. The Hart house was being set up. The boys were getting dressed. The Flower girl, Christy, was getting her hair done and getting into her dress. Jason had called the baby sitter for the babies before he jumped into the shower. The sitter arrived and Chris was finally able to get in the shower. Jason put on his special Cologne the one Greg loves. He finished getting ready, as did Chris and Christy. Jason went into the kid's room and kissed them and hugged them.

" Daddy loves you. I will be back soon." He kissed Chase and Emi. He picked up Emi before he left.

" And don't you worry sweetheart you're daddy's special girl." He smiled as they touched foreheads. " I love you." He kissed her on the cheek and put her back in her crib. He blew kisses and walked out. He grabbed the bag with his tux jacket. Chris was carrying his as well. Jason told the baby sitter everything and they finally left for the ceremony.

Greg and Lex were almost done getting ready. Lex woke up late so he had to rush. He showered and shaved. He got Adam ready and helped Greg with some stuff. Greg fixed his tie in the mirror. Mrs. Hart walked in and looked at him with happy tear in her eyes.

" Alex, give us a minute?" She asked looking at Lex.

" Yeah sure. Come with me Adam." He said taking his hand and walking out, closing the door behind them.

" Oh you look so handsome honey. I'm so proud of you." She said straightened his tie again. Greg laughed.

" Mom it was already prefect, and you look beautiful."

" No it wasn't and thank you." She said pulling on it. Greg jerked forward and laughed. She hugged him and she started to cry.

" Mom save some tears for the ceremony." He hugged her back.

" I know, I'm sorry honey it's just… oh never mind."

" Their here!" Ginger said opening the door. Greg straightened up and fixed his tie again.

" Oh honey stop touching it." She said fixing it. Greg tried to push her away.

" Get off mom." He laughed.

" Alright have a crooked tie… I don't care." She said walking out of the room. He peaked back in.

" Yes I do actually fix it!" She then ran away. Greg looked in the mirror and fixed it once more. Chris came into the room.

" Greg… wow you look so handsome." He said stopping at the door. Greg turned toward him and smiled.

" Yeah. You look great. Jason looks even better though." She smirked. Greg laughed.

" Is that so? Where is he?" Greg asked.

" Down stairs in the living room. But the doors are closed so you can't see him. There are a lot of people down there."

" Oh I know right. I didn't imagine it to look like that. The backyard is beautiful. Did you see it?"

" Yeah it's perfect. Well your mom sent me up to get you."

" Oh, alright. Tell her I will be right down I just have to get my paper with the vows on it. I worked so hard this whole week trying to perfect them."

" Nice, alright well when you find it come down stairs." He said turning.

" Wait! I can't find it." Greg said patting his pockets. He looked through his coat pockets but nothing.

" Chris, what do I do?"

" Where did you last have it?" He asked looking around.

" Well in this room. I was writing more and fixing it when- Lex!"

" Lex?" Chris furrowed his brows.

" Yes! Lex has it!" Greg smiled. " Good now get down stairs. Greg and Chris walked down stairs. Before Greg forgot he ran back to the room and grabbed the ring box.

Living room…

The doors opened from the kitchen and Jason's dad walked in. Jason turned toward him and smiled.

" How do I look?" He asked.

" You look like me on my wedding day, handsome and scared shitless." They laughed.

" You can tell?" He laughed.

" Ah, nah I'm just messing with you. You know Jason I'm glad you decided to talk to me. I tried looking for you for so long and nothing I mean nothing came up with your name. I missed you so much." They said hugging. Jason looked at him and smiled.

" Thanks… Dad. For missing me." He smiled. Sam did as well.

Stairs…

Greg handed the box to Lex who smiled like an idiot for forgetting. Chris laughed.

" Nice hon." He patted him on the back.

" Shut up. I bet you forgot your ring too." Lex said smugly.

" Actually no, I had it with me the whole time." He smiled popping the ring box up and catching it. Putting it back into his pocket. Lex stuck his tongue out and Chris laughed.

" Lex, give me the paper with my vows on it." Greg said with his hand out.

" What paper?" Lex asked getting worried.

" The paper I gave you."

" That wasn't for me to spit my gum out on?" Lex looked around. Greg narrowed his eyes and stood there in shock.

" Once again, he pulls another Lex move." Chris said smacking his hand against his thigh.

" I don't have my vows." Greg said sitting down in a chair.

" Well wait where did you throw it out?" Chris said. " Can't you re-write them quickly?"

" No… We don't have time." Greg sulked putting his hand over his face leaning against the counter.

" God Damn it Lex you really know how to screw everything up don't you?" Greg said slamming his hand on the table.

"I'm sorry Greg I really am."

" And the vows were perfect." Greg was on the verge of tears. Ginger stood at the door and frowned she then ran upstairs and dug through the trash. She found the paper and picked it up. With a disgusted face she opened it. She looked at it and then took it to her room.

" Are we ready to start?" The woman minister asked.

" Yeah I guess so." Chris said shrugging in confusion. Greg turned up his hands and sighed. They got up and started toward the door.

Few minutes later…

Ginger threw her pencil down and ran out her door. The ceremony was beginning and everyone was ready. Ginger pushed past people and was shoved into a couple of walls to get to Greg. She ran up to him right before he was about to walk out the door to walk down the aisle.

" Greg!" She screamed getting his attention before he walked outside. Mrs. Hart sat in her seat looking at the door. She wondered why Greg hadn't walked out.

" What are you still doing in here? You should be in your seat."

" I couldn't let you stand up there and not know what to say to the man you love."

" What?" He said looking confused.

" Here." She handed him the new vows she re-wrote for him. He looked at the paper and smiled.

" Oh my God. You did this for me?"

" Yeah, hopefully you can read chicken scratch. I tried my best to get it perfect."

" It is perfect thank you!" They hugged and he squeezed her tight.

" Alright now go get married." She laughed kissing him on the cheek and running away.

" Ginger!" He called to her. She stopped and turned around.

" Yeah?"

" Thank you. You're the best sister ever…" He smiled. She smiled back and nodded.

The music started and Greg walked down the aisle. The rest of the wedding party walked down. It was now Jason's turn. Greg started to get more nervous as he saw the doors open to the house. The wedding song played and Jason stepped out of the house. Walking he looked at Greg and winked. Greg smiled back. He had never seen Jason so handsome before in his life. Jason stopped by Mrs. Hart and she kissed him on the cheek.

" Good luck honey." She said in his ear. She sat back down and he walked up to Greg. The music stopped and the ceremony went on. Chris was on the left with Jason and Lex on the right with Greg. Christy and Adam were seated with Ginger and Mrs. Hart.

Few minutes later…

" The grooms have decided to cite their own vows." She spoke. She nodded toward Greg. Greg nodded back to her. He pulled out the paper and looked up at Jason.

" Jason, My love, from the moment I met you, I knew you were the one. I always dreamt of this day, and that I would get to share it with the most important person in my life, I never thought I would find that person, until I met you. You made my life what it is now. And that's perfect. I couldn't ask for anything more. All I needed was someone to love and for that someone to love me back and you did that… We have the two most amazing children in this world. Every time I look at them I see you and I smile. Because I know just how grateful I am to have you in my life. Jason Trent I would be so honored as to be your husband, and spend the rest of my life with you… I love you so very much." He said as a few tears ran down his face. Jason wiped tears out of his eyes. They both smiled. Greg took the ring from Lex and put it on Jason's finger. They leaned in and Greg kissed him on the cheek.

The minister nodded toward Jason.

"Greg…- sorry." Jason said clearing his throat. They laughed and he continued.

" Greg, Well my vows can't compare to yours." Everyone laughed.

" But I will say them anyway." He laughed.

" I didn't have much in my life. I never thought I would ever be up here at this alter with the most handsome man alive. I never thought I would end up with the cutest kids alive either. You mean the whole world to me and I just wanted to let you know that. Being with you makes me so happy. You have opened up a whole new world for me Greg and I thank you for that. We may have our differences and a few fights but we always end up happy and together… lets keep it that way… Gregory Hart I would love to spend the rest of my life with you, you don't have to ask me twice." Greg smiled and Jason wiped more tears. Jason took the ring from Chris and he put the ring on Greg's finger.

" You may now kiss your groom." She smiled. They leaned in for the big kiss. Everyone stood and clapped.

Reception…

Jason and Greg entered into the room and everyone applauded once again. They stood out on the dance floor as everyone sat.

" Now Jason and Greg will have their first dance as husband and husband." The DJ said, putting their song on. Jason and Greg started to dance to: When you say nothing at all by Alison Krauss.

" You look so handsome tonight love." Greg whispered in Jason ear as they danced. " You look better." Jason blushed. Greg laughed and they danced close. Nice and slow they went with the song. At the end of the song they went to sit. Finally the food was out and everyone ate. Dancing through out the whole party. Everyone became exhausted. It was time to cut the cake. Greg and Jason were handed the special cake cutter they had picked just for this moment. It had their initials engraved at the end of it on the handle. They cut into the cake with Jason's hand underneath Greg's. They got the first piece. Jason had the plate in his hands. Greg had turned for a napkin, but turning back Jason had smashed the cake into his face. Greg stood there in shock wiping cake out of his eyes. He got an evil smile and grabbed a piece. Jason backed up going toward the door. Greg grabbed his arm in time. He wrestled with Jason until he had a clear aim of his face. Jason's mouth was open from laughing so half of it went there. They laughed and kissed with icing all over their faces. The night was almost up. They sat as they ate their cake.

Lex and Chris stood up at the wedding party table.

" Being the best man and all, I thought I would give a little speech." He said looking over the crowed with his glass of champagne in hand. " When I met Greg, he was the rough tough football player who didn't let anyone mess with him, or he would mess back. After knowing him for a long time he just turned out to be a big softy. When he introduced me to Jason here, I didn't know what to think. Jason was prefect for him though, we all knew that." Everyone laughed. " They were amazing together. Through high school on they have always been there for each other. Now they have the rest of their lives to be there for each other even more. I'm so proud of my best friend, and who he has become. That is why I wish him and Jason the best of luck with their marriage. Congrats guys. To Jason and Greg!" He said raising his glass and drinking. Everyone in the room did the same. Greg nodded at Lex who sat next to him.

" I'm sorry for before I guess I was just really mad, and on top of that nervous. Forgive me?" Greg asked. Lex smiled and nodded. " Anything for you buddy." They laughed and hugged. Mrs. Hart, and Mr. Trent stood up and walked over to the table. Mrs. Hart had the mike, and stood in front talking.

" Hello everyone. I'm Greg's mother you know me, and Jason's father Sam." She laughed. " Usually at this time parent give the gift, so Sam and I both put our money together to get the boys something special." She said handing Greg and Jason an envelope. Greg opened in, he was confused at first but then realized what he was just given.

" Mom… Mr. Trent… You bought us a house?" Greg looked up at her. Sam and Mrs. Hart smiled and nodded. Jason smiled in joy.

" Yes we did. It's right down the street from me. It's the house on the corner you always wanted to move into. You even said to me when you were little how even though you live with me, you would go live there any day cause it was better." She laughed.

" Oh my God mom… Thank you." He cried going around the corner and hugging her. Jason did the same. They hugged each Sam and Mrs. Hart many times. The party went on and half the people there were either drunk or bloated from eating too much. It was over. The party ended and Jason and Greg were off to there honey moon. They said goodbye to the babies, and brought them over to their grandmother's house where they would be staying. They got kisses and hugs.

" Be safe, have a fun trip. I love you boys." Mrs. Hart said giving Jason and Greg a hug. They smiled and nodded. Sam gave them a ride to the airport. They departed quickly and where on their way to Italy.

" I can't believe it babe. Were married." Greg said sitting in his chair after putting the bag in the compartment above him. First class seats were very classy. They had big comfy chairs and were able to put their seats back. It was luxury in the sky.

" I know. I'm so happy. I'm just going to miss the kids."

" Don't worry babe. We will have fun. And we will bring them back something alright?"

" Alright." He said looking out the window.

" Hey J.?"

" Yup?" Jason said turning toward Greg. Greg leaned in and kissed him.

" I love you…" Greg smiled

" I love you too…" Jason said kissing him once more.

Jason and Greg enjoyed their honeymoon and finally moved into their new house a year later. Greg had continued his work for a while but then decided to quit for the family. Jason on the other hand had plans to do something else. He was going to go back to school so he could work with his dad as a doctor. They had decided to make a joint practice of father and son. The twins were growing up fast and Emi finally started to catch up to her brother turns out Emi had nothing wrong, she was just a slow developer after all. Jason and Greg decided they would have more kids, but not for a while…that's what they think… Their lives were perfect and they wouldn't change a thing in the end.

10 years later…

Jason and Greg sat at a table in a restaurant. The kids were with them, Emi on Jason's side and Chase on Greg's side.

" Hey dad what's a five letter word for Space?" Chase asked Jason. Jason furrowed his brows and shook his head.

" I don't know, sorry bud." He laughed. Chase frowned and continued with his word search.

" So how are you feeling sweet heart?" Greg asked Jason.

" Fine, my head still hurts though." Jason said putting his hand to his forehead.

" I'm sorry love. I feel bad. You've had that headache the whole day." Greg said with sympathy.

" It will go away don't worry." Jason laughed.

" Daddy, I have to go to the bathroom." Emi said poking Jason. Jason sighed and got up from the table. Emi got out of the booth and walked to the bathroom. "Ok we have Chicken Marsala?" The waiter said placing it in front of Jason.

" Hot dog?" Greg took the plate from the waiter and handed it to Chase.

" Pasta?" Jason took it and put that in Emi's spot.

" Last but not least hot wings." He said putting it in front of Greg. He walked away.

" I really don't think you should eat that…" Jason said raising his eyebrows.

" I'm fine. I'm not going to die."

"I'm just saying you will have really bad indigestion later."

" Ah the beauty of being pregnant." Greg said biting into a wing.
