Dwell in my Dreamscape

Your shadow dances
upon my wall.
I close my eyes
to keep you from
sinking into me,
like a damaged
ship on the sea.

You’re the current
I’m caught adrift in,
I drown in you.
No matter how far I run,

no matter how far I come
I can’t escape you;
you will always
hold me captive.
no matter how far I go
there you will stay,
to dwell in my dreamscape.

A.N: I didn't want to write another poem about my abusive ex, but it was repeating through my head until I wrote it down. -sighs- So here it is.
