So the helper was talking to my mom not long ago, and I happened to be holding the lovely Sarah Dessen's The Truth About Forever while I was supposed to be studying, so she tells my mom that she should "take away all my books" 'cause "they're distracting me from school" and she also says that they're "love stories." ::cue eye roll::
Let me clarify a few things here:

A) My books are mine and if anything happens to them, it's the last straw, I am not going to put up with that woman anymore.

B) I don't own any books you would normally see in the Romance section of any bookstore. They're all Fiction, Non- Fiction and Young Adult. And even if I did, so what?! Who gives a crap?!
Sheesh, it's not like I'm getting inspired to elope with the next random dude that comes my way.

C) Since she has no idea who Sarah D. is, she doesn't know her writing style. And it's nothing like what she thinks at all.

D) And the book she caught a glimpse of was Dalia's, not mine. The epilogue she read happened to be a simple kiss shared by two people by a pool. She immediately assumed that it was a love story, which irritates me to no end, and seeing that I'm always with Dalia when we're outside the house, and she knows what's allowed for her and what's not and I make sure she's reminded of that. Considering the whole 'no guy-girl relations' thing we're abiding by.

E) The helper should just shut up and mind her own business. I swear, some people are just... *shakes head*

And speaking of Sarah Dessen, Maggie's has officially left the cyber world- and Michigan. Well, until Monday. Not sure which Monday, though. She's gone to Tennessee to "visit her best friend in the whole wide world". Oh well, at least she's excited. It was our shared obsession for Sarah's books that started our friendship, plus her truly amazing writing. Her story's about to end. =(

oHriginal: Thank you. For everything. Seriously. "Sachurday"? xD. That made my day. And yes, to all your questions. Dubai is wonderful, really. Only two problems, though: the weather and traffic. (Then again, what country doesn't have that issue?) But the weather gets blazing hot and it makes you sticky all over and there's a massive lack of breeze. Other than that, it's awesome.
And I'm glad someone's being patriotic on my behalf, Egypt is wonderful too. I just don't want to live there.
I agree, Arabic is beautiful. Until you meet my Arabic teacher. Just kidding. Actually, not really, she's awful. Ask anyone. Did I mention the woman is out to get me?

Life just really sucks right now,
Yaz
