New Life

Maybe I'll drive with both my eyes pointing west
Maybe I'll cry, let out a sigh from my chest

It crackles true, but just for me in this place
A mirrored plane, it doesn't reflect Her face

But when I've become a gelding and the sun rises up
I know that I'll be fine

Maybe I am some kind of man sinking down
Maybe I can escape the span of this town

My lesson's learned, and it's true He must leave
A time for love, even though you'll all grieve

But when it begins to blanket me, I know that it's good
I know that I'll be fine
