“Curiosity killed the cat, but for awhile I was a suspect.”
- Steven Wright
---
Cat; lifeless. It wasn’t me, but I’d most certainly take credit. Still though, no; I didn’t kill the cat. I linger in the dark places in all the back alleys; I am to be blamed for all nightmares; I’m a common killer, but I didn’t kill the cat.
Or at least not that cat.
It amuses me, that Curiosity killed the cat, because curiosity fears me, I am unfigurable and Curiosity hates that, but I am also essential to the end of life.
I am Death, but I didn’t kill the cat.
