Be Somewhere

I need to find a home for myself,
some little place to call my own.
I need some way to get away,
to a new place undiscovered,
where things just fall in place.
I need a place so far away,
where everything makes sense.

So out of town right now,
out of sorts,
out of my crazy mind.
So out of my depth,
beside myself,
and confused;
At the foot of the mountain,
shadowed by grey, unparting clouds.

I want to be somewhere,
where everything makes sense again.
I want to stand at the peak,
back in town,
all sorted out,
with silence in my mind.
I want to swim and not drown,
be back in my skin;
Simply, to understand,
and look back on where I used to be.

I need to find that place where everything makes sense again.
