"Why on earth would someone do something like that?" the girl asked her best friend, who sitting on the couch with her, as she tilted her head as she watched the television.
Her best friend, who looked just as dumbfound as her friend, arched her eyebrow.
"I thought cats hated water."
"Yeah, me too."
"Who would spend that much money on a cat? It's just floating there. And to be perfectly honest, it looks like it wants to maul its owner."
"Or it's just confused. You'd be surprised what people will do for their pets," she said as she grabbed a handful of popcorn.
"But a scuba-diving cat?! It's just ridiculous!"
