The world already is blind, and besides that the blind tend to see things more clearly than the rest of us ever will. Society fades and the world rots and in the end not much really changes; society is still fading and the world is still rotting.

One day humans will end, and it’s possible that we’ll be blind while we destroy ourselves; we’re blind now, and that’s unlikely to change. We’re blind because we refuse to see, and plucking out eyes likely isn’t going to change much.

We will end ourselves; it doesn’t matter if we’re blind while we do it.
