Confession #8

Sometimes...

I see things.

Not like ghosts or anything of that nature.

When I hear music, I close my eyes and see colors and shapes.

What kind of colors and shapes depends on the music.

Like if I'm listening to something happy and fast paced, what I see

is sunflower yellow swirls with bubble gum pink polka dots quickly

flashing like little lights against the dark background of my eyelids.

I know there's a specific name for what I see but I'm don't know

what it is.

Confession #9

This has been happening since I was a child.

It happened when I heard a violin for the first time.

My eyes were open and when the violin started gently playing,

I saw thin drops of silver rain slowly falling all around me.

I reached out to touch them but I didn't feel them on my skin.

And that's when I realized no one else saw them.

Confession #10

I've never told anyone this.

It was my deepest secret.

But now, I think it's time to let go of all of my secrets...

just let them scatter to the wind...
