when i've shown the skeletons in my closet
some have run away, terrified. others have
marched right in, unabashed, and tried to clean
them all out- give them a day, or two, and
they stagger out, tired and resentful.

but when i opened the door for you,
you just took my hand, waiting for me
to take the first step.

AN: and that means the world to me.
