A Taoist Priest

---of foolish bent

Cried out his heart’s lament

His wine, it seems

---had left his life,

And with it took his wife

He threatened Sea

---to drown himself,

And sleep on it’s deep shelf

For how to breathe

---without her breath –

Lack of wine, soon come death.
