Tupperware

Let all the liars, cheaters and wife beaters come out to play
On a playground built by your own designs
Truth isn’t what we’re after here,
It’s malice, cunning and blackmail where you profit.

You try to threaten me, try to break me down
But I just come up stronger, I come out tougher
You can try to push me down the way I came up
But you can’t shrink what’s already grown beyond you.

I’m your daughter, I say I’m your pawn
What’s the difference when you still get the benefits?
What’s the difference when you treat me the same way
It’s all a game of chess to you, but I won’t help you win.

If I go off that’s too bad for you,
If I get on board that’s too bad for me
Trust is a commodity too precious to give to you
And I have nothing left to trade for it.
