When something bad happens to you,

Whether it be that someone you know died

Or your relationship has gone down the loo,

You have to put on a mask to hide it in some places

Hiding it by putting on a fake smile on your face

No one sees the pain that you hide

They don't see past the mask to your demons inside

They think everything is all right.

The mask hides the pain from their sight

Once the mask is off

it's plain to all

Things aren't as happy as they seem

Sometimes You can't help but bawl.
