Dear user,

I'm empty, but that doesn't mean you should just toss me in the cold dark bag. I can be of other use; you just have not stopped and thought about it yet.

For instance, instead of being just a crystal light can, as I was before, I can be a telescope, or a crudely constructed telephone. I can even hold your candy, coins, even flash drives, and snacks. I can hold your pencils as well, and if you really want to be creative with me, I could be used as a baseball bat.

Therefore, before you toss me out, think of the smiles I can bring to kids faces when I make them laugh. Think of the stress you won’t have to endure. Think of all the tears I can stop just by being there. I can be of use to you, as I said before. When you are looking for those pencils, I can hold them for you. Won’t that be neat? Just think of all the headaches I will save you. Think of me as your round storage bin! As a last word, Please. Don’t throw me out. If you do, I will cry.
