“Nothing is impossible. Some things are just less likely than others.”
- Jonathan Winters
---
Here’s the impossible: I got a date with the bad boy of the school; he cheated on me and I was devastated, but I did get the date and the little-while boyfriend and proved the impossible. First that I could get a date at all; second that I could get a date with one of the most desired people in the school; third cliché’s are cliché’s for a reason, they also suck ass.
Bad boys are bad boys for a reason too, and it’s not because they’re awesome and attentive boyfriends. I’m not stupid enough to be surprised; I was hurt and for a while I was a little shocked, but that was more from telling myself what an idiot I was than actual surprise.
Of all the cliché’s to go for I had to fall for the worst one. So now I’m drowning my sorrows in ice cream and Disney movies and I realize just how dumb that is. Here I am trying to swear off cliché’s while I’m watching them.
I’m an idiot. And I don’t even like Cinderella!
What the hell is wrong with me?
Irritated I click off the TV; I’m done with cliché’s.
The impossible should bloody well stay that way.
