1When I am far away,

will you recall my lips?

Will you remember the

curves of my body

in perfectly accurate detail?

I know I’ll see you there

up to your elbows,

working hard in the mud,

thinking only of your far-off city girl.

And you’ll be there waiting,

wanting for me to return.

So you can sweep me in your arms

and kiss my curves

as the country sun kisses your skin.
