“Bite off more than you can chew, then chew it.”
- Ella Williams
---
Have you ever actually bitten off more than you could chew? And then you just sort of gnawed your way through it because there wasn’t any other option? Lucky you; join the club.
If you’ve realized by now that I’m talking both literally and metaphorically, good job; go join that club too.
Here’s the bite: my older brothers’ (by two minutes) best friend (son of my moms’ best friend) is dating my best friend; I have a crush on him, I’m working to get over it. Wait, there’s more, my mom is moving in with her best friend (so we are too) the move isn’t far, just far enough for us to need to switch schools.
We’ve moved; I live with my crush now. But ho! I’m still not done. This schools most popular guy (who has a girlfriend) has a crush on me. Everyone knows this; I dislike attention. To top this off, I’m failing math and I’m grounded until I’m dead. Oh also, my best friend kind of hates me and was only using me to get to my brothers best friend
I feel two things right now, angry and kind of dead. Guess I won’t be grounded for too long, right?
There’s only one thing to do at this point, and that’s to live through this.
First things first find a friend willing to help me through this that actually likes me.
Where the hell do I find one of those?
