You're walking away

And I wish I could make you stay

Pray to God, wish upon a falling star

Anything to keep you here with me

But to no avail, it seems my plans have failed

Because you're still walking away

I wish you could see that

Without you, there's no life in me

No air to breathe, no heart to beat

Just an empty shell to be placed on an old, dirty shelf

Without you, there's no me

I would scream your name

Beg you to stay

If only I could you tell the truth

But I'll keep these words inside

And my feelings hidden from mortal eyes

As I watch you walk away

If it makes you happy

I can't ask you stay

But believe me when I say

It's so hard to watch you walk away
